My prayers have been answered. Mommy, Daddy, and I did a happy dance tonight. We've been waiting to do that for our new President since 2004, when mom heard him speak on that TV thing. He didn't mention dogs then, but he did in his Presidential Speech. I love dog people.
If you wanted the other guy to win... it's ok. Contrast is how you find what you really want. And really, we all want the same things. We want happiness for our families. We want safety for our loved ones, and for our country. We want to be financially free. We want to love and to be loved. We want the world to be a better place. We want our neighbors and ourselves to be free from crime. We want peace and we want harmony in our lives. We want less to worry about and less stress.
We all have different ways of getting things done and since we want the same things ultimately, I believe we can come together. Yes, we can find mutual ground. We have done it so many times before. We have a great country. We have a great life, in freedom. And, now we have a great President, for the next 28 years!

We structure our lives around dogs. We wake up early to feed them. We rush home from work to be with them. We buy them toys we think they will enjoy. We exercise because our dogs want to walk. We choose dog friendly cities for our vacation spots. We buy cars depending on their size.We nurse them when they are sick. And we grieve when they leave.
Dogs and Love
Dogs are easy to love. They stare into our eyes. They give us kisses. They listen intently to our babble. And, they never judge. Dogs can teach us a lot about love.
Dogs and Communication
Dogs listen and choose to react or not. They are very intelligent. My dogs understand English. With a shake of their heads, they answer yes or YES! to the most complex questions. Most dogs I meet do this. So do cats. And other animals. Just ask questions, and pay attention. Once they realize you understand… they continue to communicate this way. Watch dogs on TV. They often answer hosts with a shake of the head, side to side. At first glance it looks like a no. In dog language, it’s a yes!
